	This is a non-folding Electric bike that we have added to our range. We have recognised that this bike represents good value for money for those of you of average height. The limitation is that it’s a one size fit’s all bicycle, but it has many good features to commend it and plenty of power to assist on the hills.

		The Granite is a comfort hybrid style gents electric bicycle based on full size 26” wheels. The stylishly shaped frame gives it an appearance above it’s price, as it certainly achieves the goal of being easy on the pocket, whilst the suspension forks, saddle and seat post combine to be easy on your bone structure. The torque sensor pedal assist provides 4 levels of power from the motor when the rider needs it most. The drop-out sensor detects the forces on the pedal drive and inputs power accordingly. When going uphill or wanting to increase speed on the flat, the harder the pedals are turned the more the power is applied. Equally at home on roads or cycle tracks this all purpose bicycle will take you around town and country with remarkable ease.


		The battery is a 36V Lithium polymer 10ah The battery charger supplied with the bike is 1.8A and it takes around 6 hours to recharge if the battery is very low

	The Battery unlocks using a key, and the battery slides out from the rear of the carrier. It can be helpful to do this prior to lifting the folded bike into a vehicle, in order to reduce the weight of the bike.

	This full size non-folding Electric bicycle is only available for collection from our shop in Malmesbury Wiltshire as we are firm believers that each bike should be properly assembled and prepared before they are ridden. This is not possible on any other than folding bikes due to the shear size of the required carton and possible transit damage.

		The Warranty on the various parts of the bike are as follows. Frame - 3yrs Motor and Electronics - 2 yrs Cycle parts - 1 year Battery - 1 year

All Folding Bikes are thoroughly prepared and checked in the workshop (unless we state otherwise on Sale models) in order to validate the warranties, this involves a thorough setup and adjustment of spokes, bearings, brakes, gears (stops and cable adjustment). The chainset and crank, handlebars and all nuts and bolts are checked for tightness and the pedals fitted. Finally the tyre pressures are set and the folding joints and all quick releases are lubricated and adjusted. After a brief test ride (mainly indoor) they are then carefully packed back into the original boxes using appropriate packaging, this means that the bikes when received and unfolded are ‘ready to ride’ . All 26” wheel Dahon bikes arrive in the UK in boxes with the frame unfolded but the bike partially dismantled. We have taken the decision that in order to properly achieve our highest aim and that of the responsible manufacturers with whom we liase, that we therefore, properly prepare then fold the completed bike with only the handlebar removed, it is therefore necessary for us to repackage the bike accordingly on account of it’s larger size when assembled.
