Jon Whyte is an ex-Formula 1 designer, famous for the PRST-1 Whyte MTB. He has said that he spent eight to nine times more time on the development of this project than the work he did on the Whyte mountain bikes. The well known importer ATB Sales is producing Jon Whyte's folding bikes under the Mezzo brand name.
Is it then any wonder that the advent of this folding bike has whetted the appetite of so many who normally feast on ‘full bodied’ wheels be they savoury or sweet. This ‘Boffin’s Banquet’ is dripping with ergonomic delights, straight from the latest compo. cookbooks.
Attached to the MEZZO ‘FEEL-GOOD’ FRAME, is GENIUS AT EVERY JOINT. This bike can be unfolded in less than 10 seconds, is very lightweight at around 11 Kg complete with rack, mudguards, etc. When folded it’s very compact making it ideal for commuting and those longer rides alike. |

All Mezzo D9’s are supplied with an anodised finish not as shown on the left, the pictures below show a painted finish which is also no longer supplied.
All the bikes also have carriers with the wheels on the rear, and are compatible with the Mezzo bag system. This bag is a welcome addition that has now made the Mezzo a very strong contender in the commuter market.
